There are 8 000 abandoned and disabled children placed in warehouses who are left to die from negligence and starvation. There is evidence of 238 deaths which have occurred between 2000 and 2010, or average of 25 deaths per year. 

We have been helping the children in Bulgaria reversing decades-long practices of neglect. Our goal is to provide community-based support in small group homes and Day centers. Abandoned young people and children live in extreme poverty and this is fuelling the growing problem of sex trafficking from Eastern Europe.
